Pairing a Device
How to pair a kiosk display to your organization as an event manager or org admin.
This guide is for event managers, event directors, and organization admins.
You need to be an event manager, event director, or organization admin/owner to pair a kiosk device to your organization.
Before you start
Make sure the TV is already showing the kiosk Pair screen with a visible pairing code or QR code. If it isn't, follow Setting Up a Kiosk first.
Pairing via QR code
- On your phone or tablet, open the camera app.
- Point it at the QR code on the TV screen.
- Tap the link that appears — it opens the pairing page in your browser.
- If prompted, sign in to Paddles Up.
- Confirm the pairing. The TV switches to the display screen immediately.
Pairing via manual code
- In the main Paddles Up app, navigate to Kiosks in your organization settings.
- Tap Pair new device.
- Enter the 6-character code shown on the TV screen.
- Confirm the pairing. The TV switches to the display screen immediately.
What happens next
Once paired:
- The device is added to your organization's device list under Kiosks.
- The TV begins showing the default display content for your org.
- You can update what the TV displays from the device settings — see Configuring Display Content.
Pairing codes expire
Each pairing code is valid for 15 minutes. If the code expires before you complete pairing, the TV will show a refresh button to generate a new code.
